How do I get rid of red enemy markers and range markers yet keep them on the map

noob question here,

 

How can I get the enemy to show on the map and keep in instrument panel so I know what ammo I am using.  To get this, it also marks all enemy with a red mark and also the range which kinda takes the fun out of it.

I think you just need to set the difficulty level. Before you press start on a mission. Look to the realism and click on it at the bottom right. Click custom. their should be a tick box for show object markers. Hover over each item to see what they mean.

If you are not playing online, you can use my mod :

 

[BP_Lizard]

Install @C6_lefuneste’s VR enhancement mod (either manually or via JGSME.) You’ll be able to see just the geometric markers but without the aircraft labels/distance. 

It works even if you don’t have VR, online, or offline. 

 

Edit: Oops. I forgot that this is the tank forum. What I was describing was for aircrafts.
