xelior Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 Hello everyone, I'm new to Flying Circus and WW1 aircraft in general. I've been learning and got stuffs figured out. However the engine operation limit in combat mode is a bit of a mystery. From my understanding something around 1400 and 1600 should be the max RPM to attain in a general sense, but each aircraft has his specificities. Where is the engine data sheet of an aircraft? I can't find anything inside the game unlike WW2 aircraft.
Charlo-VR Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Hi @xelior Back in the Rise of Flight days a few of us incorporated a fantastic Excel spreadsheet by O_Taipan into the Rise of Flight manual. As far as I can tell (and I mostly fly the WWII birds nowadays), the same engine limits the developers used in Rise of Flight are also true to those same aircraft in Flying Circus. Below is the Dropbox link to my personal copy (with a few of my notes to myself) of that Excel spreadsheet. https://www.dropbox.com/s/cb6jovcdfjx094b/ROF Quick Reference v0.8 Charlo personal.xlsx?dl=0 6
