Thanks for the giveaway! Favourite WW2 book would have to be Antony Beevor's classic Stalingrad and film would be The King's Choice or JoJo Rabbit...

Always wondered why it never got better ratings at the time.

C-47s are never frowned upon.

 

I, offcourse am going to throw in a christmas themed reminder of Roald Dahls Christmas Stories.. and as WW2 element his short story "Shot down over Lybia" which caused some controversy (as Roald Dahl himself crashed due to lack of fuel and poor directions, not enemy action and in Gladiator not a Hurricane). And which is a good example of the fine and blurred lines between writing fiction and news reporting. A topic very relevant today.

 

Also fringely WW2 related, but a good christmas ghost story is "The Shepherd" by Frederick Forsyth for anyone not yet having been through that one.

but weird thing happen, going to my profile/licence and activate the key, a pop say "this key is already activate" ?????? going in game and no C-47 ?

The C47 has not been released yet if I remember correctly. You have activated the license but you won't receive it until they release it into GBS. Maybe someone else will confirm this.

In my opinion, there simply not enough C 47 pilots In the history of aviation.

But intention of me supplying is a genuine interest by the reciever to actually fly it.

And ofcourse support the brave decision done by the dev's of actually make it

I agree, probably the majority of the community (people perhaps that are not on the forums) are really only interested in shoot-em-up fast fighter engagements. I think that we transport pilots are in the minority. I think that I might buy the C-47 soon, and I will probably use it quite a lot. I hold great respect for all pilots who flew in the war, but especially for those that flew those helpless, unarmed planes filled with men into combat situations.

The Hurricane is great to fly and you can see why they say she took the bulk of the load of the Battle of Britain.
