Zimmerit layer?

Recommended Posts

S!,

Someone mentioned that zimmerit must be added as a "bump map". I'm not too familiar with photoshop lingo, but I have an idea what a bump map is supposed to do. Anyhow, I don't know how to go about creating a "bm", so I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their zimmerit layer (bm)? I seem to recall someone posted something awhile back, but I've tried many times searching for this layer and I can't find it.

TIA,

ok mate easy way, new layer, double click it for your layer options, then click bevel emboss/contour/texture, top 3, use a suitable brush to taste, then where you paint it will add, use the sliders on those 3 settings to get a good end result voila!

Doh!! I saw some of those options, but honestly didn't think about using them to create the zimmerit.
