Why are the rudders in many FC planes so unresponsive suddenly?

Yeah - feels like there have been several FM changes that aren't documented. Rudder authorities of D.XII, Spad VII, Spad XIII, Sopwith Camel (the four I've noticed so far) have definitely changed...feels like simplified physics is on when it's not?

I've downloaded and installed the update but I don't find the AQMB in the menu ?

The camel can’t even turn left now in any sustained way. What’s going on

Absolutely loving the new AQM - finally I can have some real fun in my Yak-9T! Would really like to see a 'parked' option added to the mission builder as I personally prefer cold starts and taxi to runway. Would anybody else like to see this implementation, and does anyone know if there are any plans to do so? Thanks for the fantastic update, devs!

Rudder on camel is not working properly after this update.  Apparently other FC Aircraft rudders also affected.

So you can't turn left at all with the camel, and the rudder is so useless that you can't control the right turn. Albs out turn the camel. So is this an accidental bug like the typos?

I believe it's an unintended bug as it wasn't on the changelog, let's be patient and see the dev team's stance on it.

I hope because it literally nuked the camel. Bad enough the camel has cardboard wings, now it can't even turn or energy fight or aim properly.

Rudders issue confirmed, working on it.

The rudder issue was a mistake by one of our newer engineers. He’s still learning. Is being addressed in a Hotfix.

Many thanks for the update! The Breguet is a beauty to behold (and having mixture and primitive adjustable stabilizer is a great bonus). And fixing the wing durability on several aircraft is absolutely wonderful progress. Thank you very much! ?

 

And for the rudder issues? I appreciate the quick response. Don’t be too hard on the new guy. If I were in his shoes I have a feeling I’d do far worse.

Delighted by the HUGE improvement you made to the careers by changing the way AI flights spawn in missions. I have seen it right off the bat in my Dora career. There were Spitfires which was never the case before.

Please check elevator and aileron authority too. Noticed Spad 13 can now pull stick all the way back and just cruise gently round in sustained left turn.  Other planes may also be affected.

Great update! I do have to say though that it has been stuttering for me quite a bit more than the previous version while playing in VR. It's especially noticeable flying low over cities. Was smooth as a wet seal yesterday. 

Playing on a 3070, 5600x, 32 GB of RAM 3600 MHz on an Oculus Quest 2 capped at 45 Hz.

@sandmonkee, please check your graphics settings in the game, after the update, there may be changes in them.

Fantastic update. The AQM proved to be terrific fun and that French biplane...uglier than all sin but carries a lot of boom boom

Appreciate the update, and continuing evolution of IL2 Sturmovik. I'm having problems, however, with both of the SPAD 7s starting in quick mission with empty guns. ? ? ? Suggestions please. What am I doing wrong ?

What are the conditions when choosing a mission? I can't reproduce the problem in QM.

Noticed possible bug in QMB with a bomb added to a G6. Flying a P51, the G6 pilot doesn’t seem to release the bomb when engaged in air battle as quickly as before. Just noticed a bit of a delay here. Can anyone confirm?

And of of course I am in the middle of working 14 straight 10 hr shifts.  Bunch of people on vac and have to cover.  ? I play mostly sp and look forward to this update.

Just flew two missions in the AQMG on the Kuban map (one as a Russian and the other as a German) and I am happy as a clam.  The variety and number of missions is now endless!  This is super.  Thank you so much.

Many Many thanks!!!! Im really enjoing the AQMG! My first mission was a column attack with Ducks! First, the mission didn't started very well, because I spawned above an allied airfield with a lot o AAA, but after that I saw a group of p38 in front of me.... and when I was preparing to defend (I thought I was death), then suddenly above of me appeared a group of 109s and killed the p38!!! I was very excited because it was like a movie! Then I engaged the transport column a one truck with explosives explode in front of me, and damaged a lot of my airplane so I crashed. I really liked this mission. Then I played a escorting 109 mission and it was better than a lot of scripted missions that I have played! 

 

By the way, I want to ask if career mode has been upgraded too? I stopped playing careers because missions were too repetitive and too simple, but in AQMG I felt that missions are a lot more complex and Enjoyable, so It will be great if this technology could be applied to careers too. By the way, AQMG would be excellent if it could be applied to TC!!!! Thanks!
