Normandy ships scale drawings and photos needed.

We are looking for any kind of scale drawings for Bayfield-class attack transport (APA-33 is a main interest), its based on C3 Cargo Ship (design C3-S-A2).

Bayfield class photos will help as well.

 

Also - any kind of information about LST-Based - Fighter Direction Tenders - high res photos maybe - as there mostly only a low quality available on internet.

Someone is selling the original blueprints for FDT 216 on ebay

Don't know if  you have seen it but the Imperial War Museum have 15 minutes of footage of one of them, FDT 217 - again I can't the link to work but the web address is below for you to cut and paste

I would flag up that they printed the film back to front as shown the number on the side

ViKs, as I recall, there is a substantial section on these ships in one of the later volumes about the 2nd Tactical Air Force (by Thomas and Shores), so you should be able to find some good info there.

I have Vol 1 and 2 if that helps. I might need more details on what we are looking for though.
