A question about accessory control additions???

For years ( since the beginning of Il-2 Sturmovik way back when ,I’ve had a working MSSFB STICK which as you might imagine I love ,but it does have its limitations especially using VR. A couple of years ago I bought a VK stick that had built into if many more buttons to key map which I memorized ( to some extent…) to be usable without raising the headset in VR use , but it lacked the ‘feel’ of the MSSFB ,and so despite its drawbacks I went back to the Microsoft stick which still worked well with CloD and Track IR .Also two years ago I bought a set of CH foot pedals which I have come to depend on. Now I am re-dong my PC space & might have to room to add one or two additional control devices to add to the immersion factor and may key mapping more sense ( even in VR and the need to memorize what is where,) especially with the twins we already have & those upcoming. With CloD DWT soon getting VR this also seems to make more sense. I do have a limited budget ( and ability) and will never be flying full real, so I don’t want either the top of the line or a lot of options I may never use, but perhaps throttle & trim controls that are easy to use without actually “seeing” them and other weapons options that might be better put on the new controller (s.) I need some good advice ( even if its negative to spending the $$$ to ramp up) on what I might ask Santa for in a few short months.Thanks!

As far as throttle I am quite happy with my Virpil CM3. Lots of buttons and axis.

Alternatively GVL will custom make about anything you want in a throttle.

If your focus is more "WWII sims" give a look in GVL224 custom "tailored"  throttles, that can include trim wheels, will be an best solution than "jet throttles" (Warthog, VirPil, WingWing).

 

The new VKB expansion modules is another interesting option, and probable more affordable, in the teaser years ago they say about ~$50 per module.
