Game won`t start, going to windows after loading circle. [solved]

Hello i have the same problem like =LG=Piciu, 

 

my IL 2 Steam version stopped working today, help!

 

EDIT: It was a Steam related problem, but it works now again.

Non Steam here. Game wouldn't start. Reported that my firewall was blocking some game files. Directed me to allow the IL2.exe through.

 

I select 'Run As Administrator' and the game started normally.

it works now again, i heard it was a steam problem,

thanks for your info!

 

btw. the flight simulator is a bed of roses, simply fantastic in VR, just WoW!

I epecially love the WW1, the FX during flying are crazy ?

Hello!

I am a new player (Non Steam) and I experienced this too today, yesterday it worked fine. My firewall was also blocking some IL2 files. My problem is that when this message appear my mouse pointer disappear and I

can´t click anything!

I tried to restart the computer and right click on the game-icon and choose Run as Administrator, but same result as before, firewall was blocking some game files.

Any advice how to solve this will be greatly appreciated. 

I am almost a total noob on computers so keep that in mind if you give me an advice.

Is it windows defender firewall that is blocking our game? If so search for "windows security" and go into the firewall and adjust the settings to allow the game and it´s dependensies. That should alleviate your problems. (I experienced this today as I started my reinstalled game!)

I have Norton, but I suppose it is working in the same way? Been busy lately but I will check it out this weekend. 

Do I have to allow permanent access to the game through the firewall or just temporary?

I mean it worked before with my firewall settings so maybe this is just a temporary problem?
