planes icons on map

Please what do I have to set up to avoid having planes icons on the map when I open it to find my way? Thanks for answers.

@Azdack There are a few of ways of doing it but depends on what type of game are you playing? single player quick mission, off line single player scripted mission/campaign, multiplayer dogfight / co-op?

 

You can use a mod, it can be server settings or it can be difficulty settings

Ok. Tank Crew really does come alive in a multiplayer scenario. Have a look at Advance and Secure server. That has icons turned off at server level.

You player v player action real quick and it has the challenges of capturing flags to advance your sides position and push back the enemy.

If you want to stick to single player I think you can tweak your game settings in the realism settings.
