SOLIDKREATE Posted August 2, 2014 Author Posted August 2, 2014 (edited) P-40E-1-CU Kittyhawk A29-133 RAAF http://www.awm.gov.au/collection/REL/20242/ Will there be a damage model? Technical information: http://www.p40warhawk.com/Models/Technical/Technical.htm Thanks Boomer for your kind assistance but I already have this information. I am very fond of that page and the fact it has the orginal blueprints of not only the plane but the factory service stencils as well. Fan-blinkin-tastic! We live in hope. Getting ready to open wallet, LOL. You may have to wait 2 years, lol. I am by myself right now. I just want to get a small demo out with a P-40E-1 (Kittyhawk Mk.Ia) and an A6M2-0-Mod 21 over the water off the coast of Milne Bay as a small dog fight demo. I figure after that some interest would be generated. Then maybe I can get a Kickstarter going and start hiring people. I think it is really time to honor those not so famous in the PTO. My country's story has been told to death already. I already thought of the opening cut scene. An old man will be sitting in his chair and he will look up at his shadow box and smile when he sees his medals inside. Then he will get up slowy and codger his way over and pick up a photo of him and one of his best mates and thier girlfreinds (wife now) next to his P-40. His hand will be shaking slightly and he will smile with a small tear and then he will slightly wince at the memory of his friend getting shot down and then it will cut to the dogfight demo. LLv34_Flanker Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 S! I like the idea of making less known theatres. The BoB, PTO and ETO have been made like countless times. There are very few, if any, about MTO or Burma or such. So yes, this project sounds cool. 1
Feathered_IV Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Add the Beaufort and Hudson to your list of RAAF essentials. And perhaps the Mitsubishi G3M for good measure. Good luck Spektre. Do come calling if you need an extra hand for textures or maps.

Heliopause Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Nice! Throw in these as well with a Java map...
FlatSpinMan Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 This looks really interesting. I really hope it goes well. SPEKTRE has asked us to lock his threads here, so I'm obliging. Please go to the site he just launched to follow the project.
