Pict Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 (edited) Good stuff... I wonder if basic way-points can be created in the AMQB?...or will the targets be pre-programmed and therefore a little predictable? Edited July 2, 2021 by Pict 1
Alonzo Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 I really like the enhancements to the quick mission builder, very cool.
FlyingNutcase Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 AQM coming soon! Noice. An A-5 ground pounding campaign should be good, if somewhat dangerous, and an unexpected pull-back to the East. Great detail with the paras.
senseispcc Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 Nice news in this terrible period of time for all. Thanks. 1
Daisy_Blossom Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 Anton campaign? Am I dreaming?! Thank you guys so much! 1 1
NoelGallagher Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 (edited) yeah most certainly AQM looks AMAZING!!!!!! Edited July 2, 2021 by NoelGallagher
Winkysmith Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 Can’t wait ‘till I can have the honour of transporting those dashing British gents over the coast of Normandy!
Boomerang Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 Looking forward to the AQM when it's ready. The renders of the British troopers appear top notch. Campaigns are welcome as always. Thank you.

It appears that we might be able to have mixed A/C in a flight or possibly different model versions of say, the P-51, in the same formation. My hope is that we will soon have the ability to assign different skins in a formation and command aircraft outside of our immediate flight. Whether or not these wishes transpire, I'm impressed with the continued improvement of the Great Battles series. To clarify the situation, this screen is not from the AQM, but from the campaign, and this was done manually. The Soviet 3rd Fighter Aviation Corps used mixed flights consisting of Yak-1b, Yak-7b and Yak-9. You'll meet them in the air. 15 hours ago, Sybreed said: Excited about the campaign. Will it come with fixes to the AI so they don't drop their bombs on AA and then strafe the tanks with guns? In the campaign, the attack zone is manually configured and therefore the planes will not use bombs to attack AA guns instead of tanks. But, if your target is an artillery battery and there are AA guns they will be attacked first as presenting the greatest threat at the moment. Guys, please take a poll about the next campaign: 1 1 2
moustache Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 Advanced Quick Mission... only for aircraft or also for tank?
[RBRI]Khaela Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 @Jason_Williams Look good! Question: is the AQM purely Singplayer or can it be used to generate coop missions as well? 1
moustache Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 indeed ... we feel a little neglected in a tank ...
Missionbug Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 The British Paratrooper looks excellent, I can see the C-47 and Paras used in many clandestine drops by the mission makers as well as the main events, hopefully the career mode will also finally make full use of this facility for both sides now we have the main components. Thank you very much to all involved, really appreciated. Take care and be safe. Wishing you all the very best, Pete. 1

Savitskiy, all be wearing the winged dragon badge on their noses? Regiments from both divisions in the corps had it. 1

Still, it would sure increase the realism of the missions if it were doable sometime in the future. For the record, I'm more than pleased with the direction the entire sim is headed. I've more than gotten my money's worth from it. 2
DN308 Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 With all these paratroopers, I would be excited to see a Marketgarden campaign 2

percydanvers Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 I am really excited for the AQMB! I hope it will allow us some flexibility with regard to planes and mission types. I want to take my 109 on the jabo missions you normally only get to do with the 190.

It's nice to see single player functionality taking a much needed step forward - great news. Back in RoF I spent hours just setting up 16 v 16 furballs. Simple mission generation, especially enhanced like this will be where many players spend almost all of their time I think. 1

rodgerdavies Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 I bought into the game just after (and partially because) of the new career system when Kuban came out, so I'm not familiar with AQM - look forward to checking it out as I'm an 'offline only' player and always nice to have some options to change it up.
