I don't want to re-ignite the VR discussion but... any news? The last post on this was in July and there was a video, as I remember, where the VR was demonstrated. I am anxiously waiting for VR since my computer layout does not allow me to fly simulators without VR anymore. Yes, I do have BoS and DCS, but the Battle of Britain is of great interest to me.

At preent VR is tied in the the visual improvement update. That was hoped for in Summer but put back to fall and is possibly now for release at some point in winter 2022 or in 2023. There have been a few videos put out indicating things are progressing but no further official updates from TFS. Last solid word was that they were working on some issues with Speedtree and Truesky with better technical support and that Primax was continuing to be a problem in VR. That was a month or so ago- maybe a littel longer.

Not in July. Three weeks ago, on the 25th of October, the developers said "our target for Fall 2022 release will probably not be met".

If you want my opinion Stickshaker, we won't have VR compatibility in this game until next year. For some players this is an unbearable wait. For me there's no rush, when it's done it's done, that's all.

Really? This is very hard to believe... Modern rigs, modern graphics cards, modern operating systems, latest version of DirectX... no longer read "Cliffs of Dover" with a TrackIR?

Blitz/DW-T will be available for purchase no matter whether or when the Visual Update arrives. In fact TF 6.0 could be announced before the Visual Update is available for customer review. Hope is that the Update will be available some time in 2023. Another six or eight month wait is of no consequence if it brings players back to Blitz. An upside is that there are other VR capable sims currently available so no VR headset need sit idle in the meantime.  ?

We expect to release the Visual Update before TF 6.0.

I take this to mean that Partners' TF 6.0 approval will be announced after the Visual Update has been released.
