Six (ish) months in, on and off, loads of fun!

Iron Man mode, 131 sorties, 104 victories. I think this is my fifth career with PWCG and I've had a lot of lucky breaks. 29th May, 1942, still a long way to go but I doubt I'll make it to the end, it's a meat-grinder out there. ?

That’s quite a career you’re having. So far beating the odds and racking up victories. Way to go!

You’ve already beaten Galland’s ultimate score, so good work! At this point you can probably get away with becoming General der Jagdflieger (giving yourself around 3 years of leave) and only coming back when Me-262s are available

Even more of an accomplishment lately with the much improved AI gunnery and more accurate AAA/AA over the past few months.  Keep us informed of his progress/fate.  Good work!  :salute:

There's a large number of them in a series covering a lot of WW2 subjects. The most I found in one place was a forum somewhere (lost in the mists of memory). This is the original leather jacket one. Your campaign generator doesn't match the bits up well so I 'hand craft' mine in PS.

Yeah, after a two-month break the improved gunnery shat the bejeezus out of me. I survived by luck and am now much less complacent.

Found them. :)

I know...right?!  My leading all time Iron Man ace is a Soviet flying Hurricanes - 85 kills.  I don't know exactly how many a/c he lost at this point, but he is just one lucky SoB.   Even when the new "improved" AAA took his wing off in a big "SURPRISE...OH SH!T" moment in route to a target, he still managed to get out and get back to his own lines.

Feeling that pucker factor resulting from an emotional attachment to a bunch of pixels, makes me thank @PatrickAWlson every time I load a PWCG mission!

When it's too wet to fly one can amuse oneself with paperwork. ?

So I was badly burned in a little mishap and they had to do some treatments...but I did look like this before, honest! ?

Yeah, slow Sunday.

Looks like Norman Rockwell did a Hartmann portrait.
