Yes, as the igniter mixed with the fuse. The developers of the gel reported that it stuck to the muscle tissue of the victims and continued to burn for days. Factoids like that are what caused it to be considered close to criminal. Certainly a bit morbid and unpleasant.
[SN]_Reaper_ Posted June 12, 2021 Posted June 12, 2021 I managed to find out that the Schwebekreisvisier 38 anti-aircraft sight was installed on the Sd.Kfz.10/5. I wouldnt have thought so but cant imagine them going to all this trouble for just a visual thing so is there a plan for much much bigger maps? Once again, love your work…you lot give astounding value for money…DCS should take notice of this business model me thinks There's been a few times where I've run out of fuel on the Rhineland map. Particularly on a long mission in the fuel hungry Tempest. It's not only distance that matters but also ability to stay on station and patrol for a longer period of time where the tanks become useful. 6

Yes, Rhineland and Normandy are the two maps where drop tanks are going to prove most useful. If the I-16 also receives drop tanks, they will prove especially useful on escort missions over the Moscow map. 2
migmadmarine Posted June 12, 2021 Posted June 12, 2021 I've run close to my fuel limits on Moscow a several times on escorts in 109 careers, did the Fredricks ever carry drop tanks at that period of the war?
ER*Wumme Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 Thank you .. for drop tanks or "Dackelbäuche". P.S. My father told me that many children used them as a bath after the war. 1 1
EAF_Starfire Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 I can only repeat what all the others have written: Thanks for finally making droptanks!

Kinda like the Typhoon looks more menacing than the Tempest, with those pins sticking out of the wings. Have a nice day.

IckyATLAS Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 I was dreaming deep asleep. I woke up, opened my eyes and there it was a drop tank. Am I still sleeping and it's a dream or maybe it's real. Oh no I'm still in the matrix!

Drop tanks will be welcome !

Freycinet Posted June 18, 2021 Posted June 18, 2021 Drop dead gorgeous screenie of that Bf-109, thanks! 1
racketyjack Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 My reply is a little late but only now read the dev blog. I am excited to see droptanks will soon be ingame. Also, the Pfalz looks awesome. My eye caught the prop detail like the bolts and the manufacturer label. Not to mention the beautiful wood grain...wow! Now that's attention to detail. And of course the German flak vehicle. I have the Russian one and love it. I hope you have enjoyed your break, you guys deserve it. Thank you for keeping us updated. ? 1
-332FG-Buddy Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Hope we can get this with the "proper" pilot to match.........
