Just ordered my Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog!

I'm looking forward to this stick, my current stick a Logitech Extreme 3d pro works fine but I felt like an upgrade hopefully it will get here tomorrow.

Anyone else use use this stick?

I do and absolutely love it!

 

Take the time to learn the TARGET software for programming outside of the sim, and you can really do a lot with it.

I've had it for about six months and love it. I haven't messed with TARGET much yet and have programmed most functions to the stick via the BOS GUI. I have mounted them (center stick/side throttle) on a custom PVC stand inspired by some I found online - only beefier (1 1/2 PVC tube). Also a 10 cm extension from this guy: 1PL-Sahaj-1Esk. It is awesome.

 

Just reloaded FSX for the first time in years with this cockpit setup and flying helicopters is really great as well. Much more immersive than a stock stick on the desk.

Ill have to look into building a stand, right now I just put the joystick between my legs lol wow that sounded really wrong!!!!

I just received mine in the mail yesterday!!  unfortunately due to work commitments I wont be able to put it through its paces till next week - but I did take it out of the box, and I must say it surpassed my expectations regarding looks and feel... it actually feels like the real thing!

Wow this thing was totally worth the money! I only bought the flight stick as I'm planning on building my own ME109 throttle quadrant, It still cost like $280 but its worth every penny it feels better than the sick in my Yak-52 does lol

 Warthog is nice. I just need the extension as well or the KG13 b Baur..uhoh..my VISA will scream in agony :D
