I was very close to get rid of our two 4 days ago. Had to go on a night job with what showed itself later as Covid. Came home and took a warm shower. Then right to bed 

woke up one hour later and the cats brought in a live mouse to the bedroom and released it.

Cats don't have great muscles for retracting their tongues, so they sometimes get stuck outside. Thank you for the picture; she looks just like my first cat, Sydney, whom I had for 17 years and don't think I spent more than a month of that time without her sleeping with me at night. ?

A wild animal, who I fed for the last four years. Now he is very ill, get all the deadly cat deseases at once and had a large tumor in his right ear. He never let me touch him in these four years, but I managed to give him a tranquilizer, caught him and took him to the vet. Now the tumor is removed (no cancer luckily) and I have his blood picture (not good, unfortunately). But he recovers inside the house and not in the freezing cold outside. And suddenly I can touch and cuddle him and he accepted me as friend. Hope he will at least live long enough for the summer.

Thank You, but that’s pushing it a bit. I just try to help this poor cat.

 

Which has so much trust meanwhile to lick my nose and sleep in my lap. ? And that’s making me happy. So it is give and take.
