Wooden headed shovels

I've been away for a while and I'm probably missimg something obvious. However, on the German machines, the shovels hooked to the exterior appear to be made out of a sort of wooden texture rather than a metalic iron texture. Can anyone advise? Thank you.

I'm refering to the iron blade of the shovels, not the wooden handles. Same with the axes. I can't take a screenshot to illustrate the point. I've forgotten so much about the ins and outs of this game.

It's this sort of thing I was referring to. I think it'sa got something to do with the template, but I'm not sure

That is definitely not what I am seeing. It looks like the file on your system has been modified. Other than getting ready for some serious trench warfare, are you sure you can't remember painting those parts?

 

I would be willing to bet that if you go on a MP server, no one else will be able to see those textures.

You're right LachenKreig. It was a Mod from a well-known player that had wandered off the path with subsequent updates. I'm pleased to get that sorted out, it's been pecking at me for a couple of days.

Actually late in the war Germany was running low on steel.  So they ordered a bunch of tools from a Polish factory in Gdansk.    All of the implements showed up made of wood.  The Poles kept the money.

I too have that issue @KpgQuop. Could you enlighten me as to the culprit mod? or PM me if you don't wish to disclose the suspect mod/name
