Durability is one thing, being impervious to 20mm rounds is quite another.

Combining..

a) RoF 'port' effect (RoF DVIII had indestructible wings, resistant to all bullet damage)

with

b) FC damage modelling (spar size, spar size and nothing but the spar size)

leads to a fairly predictable conclusion.

 

Definitely worth raising the issue though.

For all the good work being done on FC, the DM is causing so much frustration and core user drop-off.

You are right this is not the correct place, but since Fokker D.VIII is about to realse I rised it, both Fokker Dr.I and Fokker D.VIII share the same engine Oberursel UR II rotary 9 cyl 110 HP and there is significant difference in engine RPMs between them. This RPMs difference is significant as power and speed highly depends on it.

Brilliant news, will enjoy the typhoon, and keep the cockpit window open in case it gases me! But don't fancy my chances against the current ground flak, seems much more accurate these days, but I AM biased, when being shot at
