Anybody using PWCG in coop mode for a Player vs Player campaign?  @Highwayman started doing that.  I was wondering if anybody else is.  if you are, feedback is appreciated.

And if anybody is reading this saying "What, that's possible!", the answer is yes, yes it is, and it's Epic ?

 

Just add your co-op pilots to opposing sides and away you go!

So could you add generic "human players" (Like "LWOne" or "USOne") to associate with mission pilots and then allow random players to join a campaign if they knew the mission start time & coop server? 

 

If so, this could add a way for some of the squads out there to have the potential for PvP even if they didn't want to oppose each other.  It might also add a very different type of "possibility" of PvP (which I would liken to potential of encountering one of the Expertin in a campaign).  This is something that the dogfight servers don't really provide since the whole idea there is to encounter other humans.  If this is actually possible, I can envision a PWCG Coop squadron made up of a "squad" of players playing together as a team, with other random players joining the campaign mission in opposing squadrons (or even allied squadrons in different roles).  But, I haven't done enough PWCG Coop to know if this is actually possible in the setup.

Sure.  There is nothing that actually identifies the human pilot and associates it with a real individual.  it just represents a person and it's only use in PWCG is to make sure that you don't have the same human assigned to two different pilots in mission generation.  Once the mission starts there is nothing stopping and particular person from getting into and plane.
