CzechTexan Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 I have not played for about 2 years (due to my graphics card issues) but I recently thought I'd try again. So, I just bought BOM and BOS to go along with my BOK to get back in the game. It took about 18 hours to download all the updates! I thought that would be the hard part. Anyhow, now I cannot login to get into the game! I've tried all my old passwords that I could think of. I probably even wrote it down but its been a long time so I don't even know where that would be. The problem is... when changing to a new password, you need to type in the old password. Well, what if you cannot remember the old password?
Monksilver Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 When you click on the game to play it you get to a screen where you enter your password, on that page is a password recovery option (see picture below) which I assumes sends a link to your registered email address to change your password without needing to know the old. Any chance the password is the same as for logging on to your profile on the store page, I'm not sure if they can be different or not. Hope this helps and good luck.
CzechTexan Posted April 25, 2021 Author Posted April 25, 2021 (edited) They send a link but that link then takes me to the Profile page where I need to Change Password... Then I need to type the OLD password. The link is not like on other sites where the link sends you to a page to just type in a new password. btw, I did send a message about my login problem but I have not heard back yet. Problem solved. I re-tried to reset password and it worked this time. For some reason it didn't work before. But maybe that was because I did the link on my other laptop. Thanks for helping.
