Windows Mixed Reality Tray Tool is here!

Seems good ole ApolyonVR is at it again, creating a tray tool now for Windows Mixed Reality.

Check out the release notes for Version 1, looks pretty cool.

I made great use out of his Oculus Tray Tool back when I was using Oculus product.

This will be very handy for disabling those pre-allocated virtual monitors that keep getting enabled after an update to WMR.

Great information, that'll ease the process for many users, very handy, instead of jumping through the registry.

 

Got to test it though, free of bugs? Then might add it to the sticky thread as well.

P.S. I already see a problem with the function "to start up SteamVR upon WMRTT start". If people start up WMR and the WMRTT together, guess what happens..

Will now, enough work. Onwards! 

I just tested it, throws an error, asks for Oculus software upon running. 

 

 

The selection for power plans is unavailable, it's just variables in the gui without anything to select. 

 

These settings leave you without translational tracking

 

 

However, it's a first version, so it's still in the beginning. It has some nice features like disabling the virtual monitors if you haven't done that manually yet, as dburne said, very handy. But I'll let others test it in the future and wait for more versions and more bugfixes. It's fresh.

Strange, I have selections in the dropdown menus.
 

However, one thing I've noticed is choosing "Start steam when WMRTT starts" will trigger WMR and Steam VR also and not just Steam.
