Hello,

 

4k skins for the Henschel 129 on the way.

 

But still work on the template and alpha channels.

 

I hope that in 8 days to be able to offer a first skin.

 

I work from the wonderful book by Martin Pegg

Just a heads up Duck fans.  The new Hs 129 4K layout will be quite a bit different than previous 2K and 4K templates.  I have submitted the updated skins and templates for release by the developers.  So hope to see them in sim soon.

Hello,

 

I started some default skins from the new template.

 

- Color panel according to the documentation of Merrick and Ullmann.


- Alpha layers reworked just necessary to make the metallic reflections on a matte camouflage paint while avoiding the effects of mirrors on the surfaces.

 

- Weathering adjusted and worked for an operational aircraft in the Russian steppe but in flight condition.

Still a lot of work to adjust the weathering and alpha channels.

It's in my plans to finish Hs 129 skins for the Kuban map, but I still have a lot of work in progress.

I put this project on hold a bit but I'll get back to it, for now I'm on Bodenplatte.

Below is an Hs129 from the PzJg51 peninsula of Kerch in the spring of 1943.

There are still details to finalize and check before sharing it.

This skin with the new template.
