KPnutskgwanchos Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 Sorry if not the right forum wasn't sure I have head tracking and a msff2 and wondered how others set up their cockpit / gunsight views... I was using a saved position to centre on gunsight and just zoomed in and out for close sighting. I also thought why not set a fixed snap view to a button that takes me to gunsight view and have my centre view set higher and further back in cockpit for all round view.... Problem there is I'm fixed in one position on the gunsight button so less flexible for under the nose deflection shots. What combinations do the rest of you use?
jollyjack Posted April 10, 2021 Posted April 10, 2021 Spent a lot of time setting up cock pit view, dunno about gunners and positions. At least i found Opentrack better for adjusting matters. There's a tutorial here: https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/34403-a-complete-guide-to-set-up-head-tracking-opentrack/ 1
jollyjack Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 PS just discussed it with an experienced user; DCS works pretty easy, but adjusting opentrack for IL2 seems to be quite asymmetrical, that was also my finding ..
