Controls help?

Ok, I'm keen to dive into TC however the control setup makes NO GODS DAMNED SENSE.

can anyone share their suggestions/configs and provide any advice here?

i'm working with a full hotas setup, warthog throttle, VKB Gladiator II and VKB pedals with a quadrant and even a button box for extra clickyness. but i see some use mouse and keyboard?

honestly, would like to play this but there appears to be a wall to climb first.
