DANKE MEIN HERR!!!!!!

  Sounds much better now @Oyster_KAI!

I’ve been to Germany many times, even speak a bit of it and for the life of me I can’t remember screaming at each other lol. But, for some reason In most games, the German soldier is always screaming at the top of his lungs! Haha it reminds me of Steel Fury. Fun game by the way!

Thank you, much easier on my ears than stock,  good work Oyster!

Yeah, especially when the rear gunner gets his orders from the pilot he's shouting like mad.

As German I use another mod I found here that clears and enhanced the sound of the Kraut's radio calls. You couldn't understand them at all.

Thought you could've overdone it and tuned it down too much, because even Germans play WW2-Germans the way they used to sound back then, thus very commanding, humourless and always a tad uber-hard-headed and official. But I like it and installed it. Sounds pretty good, still enough left to sound ... typically 40's ... but not so ear-piercing. Endorsed. ?

Thank you so much for these!  What an improvement!  The original air traffic controller was getting on my nerves!  I can't believe the number of files you needed to modify - did I count over a thousand total?  How in the world did you manage all of that?

I am also a musician, and operating DTM software is fairly proficient for me.
I forgot how many files I edited. It took me about an afternoon.
glad to help you all.

Thank your for this.

You gave me this link in the reply to my steam BOX comment.

This 'German radio issue' is one of my 2 top unbearable annoying issues, the other one is the gunfire sound.

The gunfire sound effect which has higher frequency than it should, namely, you shouldn't hear the same frequency of sound when you are sit in the cockpit with the canopy open/closed.  (like Kah kah kah/ Da da da). I don't fly I-16 in this game, but all the other plane with a sealed cockpit sounds 'Kah kah kah' as if I don't have a canopy at all. And also for those guns mounted deeply in the nose and wings.

Will you consider to edit the game files into a mod?

You mean to reduce the volume of the gunfire all the way?

I'm not an expert on this but I believe it is about sound frequency.

(i.e. similarly, a voice of a male vs female . We could tell it is a male or female speaking even at same volume)

Adjusting the volume and frequency is OK, but I can't get it to make a difference when opening/closing canopy.
The number of guns is also a problem, now in game. no matter how many guns there are, they all have the same volume or pan balance.

Yeah I understand you )

Having the volume and frequency adjusted would be nice enough to present stage, since I don't see any plan on gunfire sound improvement by dev so far.

So it would be a mod of great value.
