Pietman Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 IL2 updated and of course set all key mapping back to default, which means I can no longer use the hat switch on the joystick to look around the cockpit freely. I can't remember how I initially got this set up to work the way I wanted it to. Any help appreciated.
NO.20_W_M_Thomson Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 When logged in go to settings, camera and in there is a whole bunch of choices to set your key bindings and hat switch, you can also use your mouse to look around or better yet get head tracking.
Pietman Posted February 19, 2021 Author Posted February 19, 2021 (edited) Thank you for the reply. I should have pointed out that the first thing I did was go through the camera section in settings and change key mapping for anything that looked like it could fix the problem, but none of it did. I submitted a ticket on this because I can't think of anything else to try. Edited February 19, 2021 by Pietman
JGr2/J5_Baeumer Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 @Pietman once you get things setup again, go make a copy of your config file and set it aside or make it unwritable in the properties settings for the file to be able to swap it in after updated or to avoid future overwrites during updates. 1
NO.20_W_M_Thomson Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 You can also look at settings, pilot head control, Play around with those settings. I only use my hat switch to snap back to check my 6 fast other than that I use head tracking.
