LF_Sire Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Hello, Is there any way to restrict an IA plane operations area? I elaborate my question with an example: A couple of IA Hurricanes doing a CAP (MCU:AtackArea or Low Priority in a route), whenever they spot a enemy they engage in dogfight. If the enemy flees (or feints) mostly Hurricanes will follow him till hell. (Mostly but not allways). Is there any way to restrict this or to forbide an speecific zone for IA planes? Than you in advance.
IckyATLAS Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Yes, you can use the Attack Area with the parameter attack air targets. Set the size of the circular area to what you want to and normally combats will happen in those areas. If the enemy leaves the area then the AI planes should not follow it, they will stop attacking. You have also a Time parameter in which you can limit the time for the planes to attack. You have a Priority parameter that will define if the AI planes can do what they want (low) attack another target to defend themselves (medium) or only attack the planes whatever else happens (high) 1
LF_Sire Posted January 26, 2021 Author Posted January 26, 2021 Thank you @IckyATLAS I'm not sure they will repect the Attack Area but i will do some tests. I will post here the results.
