Hi guys,

a while ago I downloaded a cpu throttling app from somewhere on this forum that automatically put the Windows 10 energy management in the most powerful mode when IL2 was started. Unfortunately I discovered recently my CPU is in this mode all the time and if I set it back it automatically goes back to this mode again when I restart the PC. I cannot remember the name of the program so I can re install it and properly de-install it (which I probably have not done in the past). Does anyone know which app it would have been?

I think you're talking about FUMS - a little program to optimize your power management, priority and affinity for IL2 or whatever program you want.

FUMS (F*ck Up My System) can be found on the SAS1946 website, if I remember correctly?

Yes, I know @JG51-Hetzer, it sounds like a joke, but actually it isn't. The program's name is like I said. You can ask @SAS_Storebror.

F*UMS

Other probable candidate is Processor Lasso, mentioned in various topics in this forum. I use without issues.

Yes and I use FUMS without issues either - you don't even need to install that program too.
