hawker445 Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Couldn't find what I was looking for in the search, but I can't seem to find the file since I have IL2 in steam. Any pointers would be great or the root location for games through steam
unreasonable Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 My STEditor.exe is in program files (x86) - steam - steamapps - common - IL-2 sturmovik battle of stalingrad - bin - editor I think that is the default. Make a shortcut for the STEditor.exe to the desktop and you will never have to find it again!
JimTM Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 while you are in the neighbourhood, consider making a few more shortcuts: .../bin/editor/ResetEditorSettings.cmd - Reset the editor settings, which may help if you run into technical issues with it. .../bin/viewer/Viewer.exe - The aircraft/tank viewer .../bin/game/DServer.exe - Open the DServer (dedicated server) interface for running multiplayer missions. Note: You can also get an additional DServer using a separate free account, which allows you to run the DServer and also run BoX and fly on that server. See Chapter 11 in the mission editor manual. .../bin/resaver/MissionResaver.exe - This is a command-line executable to "resave" the mission on a multiplayer server computer I have not used it but there's a related post here and here.
