SE.VH_Shark_Leaden Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 I'm having a constant problem that is completely ruining my gaming experience... Regardless of the game mode I'm playing (SP or MP) and the map, the game's fps suddenly drops to around 20-30 fps. I've done everything: I reinstalled the game, Steam, changed the graphics configures in game and in the game folder, changed to my SSD, I even formatted my computer, but not resolvable... another problem I noticed is that at certain times the game is slow, as if the fps had dropped, but all the counters are showing 60fps My configurations: GTX 1060 3GB 16GB DDR3 1600MHz Intel Core I7 4790k 4GHz 120GB SSD MB Asus H81M-C/BR W10 Pro

So, obviously you pushed some settings way to far and your system can't handle it because of this. Show me your settings and I will tell you, where you can optimize your system without having to renounce on eye-candy - I promise.

Maybe this is causing my fps drops... Hi, if you overclock your CPU, then be careful to not overdo it. But another thing you might look into it, is your actual graphic settings - they are too high for your GPU (you have only 3 GB of VRAM!). Here are some settings you need to reconsider: - Antialiasing: Set it to max. 4x! 8x is much to high/deadly for your GPU. Try also antialiasing type FXAA and set this to 4x. - Distant landscape detail: Set this to normal, instead you may rise the horizon draw distance to 100km - Distant buildings: again, too much taxing for your graphic's amount of memory Finally, you may change your shadow quality to medium and clouds quality to high without too much risk of overload your GPU. Also, I suggest to activate Sharpen - this in not performance relevant, but helps a lot for spotting. Hope this helps. Cheerio
