4SCT_Vespa Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Don't know if this is a game or aircraft issue (( I always fly CR42 and C202 ), but I I hear no sound when an enemy shot hits the plane and some parts are even damaged or removed from the shot, for exaple loosing an aileron or a rudder. I just realize that someone hits me when the aircraft start flying worse due to reduced aerodynamic performance This is really annoying...
4SCT_CR42Falco Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Same happens to me: I already reported the issued in the bug report thread, I wonder if we are alone in experiencing this issue
BigGinger Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 I've noticed the same thing over the past few months. It doesn't happen all the time, but occasionally I'll realize I took some damage but never heard anything.
Team Fusion Buzzsaw Posted December 1, 2020 Team Fusion Posted December 1, 2020 Hello Guys Is your in game volume for sfx etc. set to 100%? If the ingame volume is set to less than 100% you can miss some sounds. Adjust the volume for your headphones or speaks using the Windows desktop volume control.
4SCT_Vespa Posted December 1, 2020 Author Posted December 1, 2020 Already checked several volume settings...I can hear with no issues other sounds...like aircraft's engine flying even not so close to me...but no sounds at all if I take an heavy hit the broke my rudder 1 1

Sokol1 Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 (edited) Quote Can you confirm you have the in-game volume turned up to 100%? But... In game volume is not supposed locked in 100% at some patches back? In game GUI > Audi0, the player don't have access to game volume adjust anymore, only can adjust the overall Windows volume, through Windows Sound Mixer. Edited December 3, 2020 by Sokol1
4SCT_Vespa Posted December 2, 2020 Author Posted December 2, 2020 (edited) 100% game volume ( with this settings the engine sounds volume is too loud....deafening to play with that ) In the video you can see the Spit hit my canopy, with damages to the windshield...some holes in the wings ... but no sounds. I realised that this happens more with flak hits Edited December 2, 2020 by 4SCT_Vespa Add more info to the video 1
FurphyForum Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 @4SCT_Vespa played it a couple of times, I can hear the burst from the Spitfire, but yes I couldn't hear the impact noise for damage.
Mr_Steven Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 One of the major things that needs improvement, in my mind. In the old '46 days I'd get bounced out of nowhere with headphones on and almost jump out of my skin from the sound of it. It was beautiful, and I'd love to have something like that again. 1 1
Reggie_Mental Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 (edited) It's do-able. You get a loud bang when the flak hits you, so you should get some sounds for cannon and MG hits Edited December 10, 2020 by Reggie_Mental
