Can't object / target link objects or MCU's

G`day Guys, 

                    I am trying to Object / Target link objects and MCU`s however I am unable to. Any hints, tips or advice to fix this please? I haven't been into ME for awhile due to R/L so I thought I would have a go at it again tonight, but to no avail. 

 

Any help much appreciated.

Mission begin =TL= Timer: (select mission begin => Shift+t => select timer / or / select mission begin =>click "find target button" => click on your MCU timer)

 

MCU command effect =TO= Effect (effect need to have entitiy) (select MCU command effect => Shift+O => select Effect / or / select MCU command effect =>click "find object" => click on your Effect)

Your link views are all disabled. Click all your toolbar buttons that start with "MCU". For details, see pg. 198 in the manual. Also, see the top of pg. 183.
