chiliwili69 Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 I live in Spain. My first choice for hardware is www.pccomponentes.com Beyond that it is really difficult to find a serious online shop. Due to the scarce stock of the Zen3 CPUs and also the new GPUs (3080 or 6800XT) I am also looking to other good shops within the European Union. Without customs duties. In US you have some supply of stock from Newegg and similar shops shown at the stock tracker, but I would like to know what good shops we have in Europe. UK, has also good online shops, but I am not sure if they supply to the EU or if there is extra custom duties.
robbiec Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 Try caseking.de or mindfactory.de You can also search Geizhals EU (just type in Google) and it'll allow you to search pricing and availability across EU S!
Soilworker Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 Yep, mindfactory.de is pretty good, there's also alternate.de which is okay.
Jaws2002 Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 Did you guys try to buy from some US store and have it shipped to Europe? Even if you pay the duty taxes, in some cases you could still get a better price. I'm in Canada and I order a lot of stuff straight from US stores. USA is a massive market with strong competition and we can get a lot of stuff cheaper than in Canada. In recent years, computer parts are pretty competitive in Canada as well, but on US market you have a lot more options.

If I click to the english flag it is redirected to the uk site. I wonder if the .eu site can be seen in english. 2 hours ago, Jaws2002 said: Did you guys try to buy from some US store and have it shipped to Europe? I don´t know if others have other experiences. In the past I was traveling to US about twice a year for work and could buy small things, but now with the COVID there is no travel at all.

I use it to beat up suppliers in work ?

chiliwili69 Posted November 24, 2020 Author Posted November 24, 2020 (edited) But if I select the geizhals.eu then everything is in German. If I select the skinflint.co.uk, then it is in English but prices in pounds. But in your screenshoot you have text in english and prices in Euro. I don´t know how you did it. did you registered in the site and change options? Edited November 24, 2020 by chiliwili69
Ribbon Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Everything is out of stock in EU! I've spent hours last night to find good quality 850w psu after German seller on amazon canceled my order due to supply shortage. Only one left were evga supernova GA 850 which have serious issues powering G2 and xmass tree asus thor 850w.... I almost went for 1000w corsair but manage to find seasonic prime px850w, only 2 left in stock now. I had luck with 10700k and msi meg mobo too, day after i bought them price went up and they went out of stock. While HP being confident to fulfill preorders placed till mid November G2 during December. Now only 3080 hunt remains, asus, msi or evga whatever comes first!

You can use a translate plugin on firefox and palemoon ... Amazon.de is my main webshop.....reliable on returns and you can see ratings on their partner sellers. Amazon.it and amazon.fr are basically the same thing as amazonde regarding availability, i think they use same warehouses. However amazon.co.uk and other UK shops have a bit higher prices than EU amazon with much higher shipping costs. Btw amazon prime membership is only worth if amazon is placed in your country (.de, .it, .fr).
hsthhsth Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 @chiliwili69, maybe it has to do with the language setting on the system. I've set mine to English although my region setting is Dutch (living in The Netherlands). Might be that browser looks at this setting. Worth a try.
Freycinet Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 I have been very happy with Alternate for the last ten years. There's Alternate.be but they also have webshops with other EU suffixes.

You'll probably need a bot to pickup a 3080 at the very least to give you a heads up on stock. 3090s seem to reasonably easy to get hold of, there is suspicion that NV are diverting high percentages of 3080 skews to miners (it was mentioned in their last financials and picked up by some industry watchers), 3070 stock is also coming in.
15[Span.]/JG51Costa Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 Hi Chiliwili69. Did you try https://www.coolmod.com/ ? Saludos. 15(Span.)/JG51Costa
