question on a new t-flight stick x by thrustmaster

I noticed a detent on the throttle which produces a uncontrollable power settings. Has anyone removed the bottom cover to fix this ??  There's got to be something better then this joystick. Thanks a lot...

It's a hunk of junk IMO. I had one and gave up on it almost immediately. I tried to resell it once I realized it was junk and it wasn't just that I sucked at flying, and ended up giving it away when no one would pay $15 for it.

 

There are primitive tribes living on the Amazon having never seen a computer who have better joysticks than this.

Even if you remove the physical detent (it's easily possible), the large deadzone around the 50% position will remain.

I used this HOTAS for years, and liked it for its good ergonomy, but @cardboard_killeris right, it's better to get rid of it.
