Loading Screen Missing?

Ever since this latest update the loading screen has not been appearing, usually there is a stylized screenshot with the name of one of the great battles on it, and now it is just a black screen with the red bar on the bottom and the text on top

Are you talking about the loading screen when you launch the game? It has always been like this - never changed.

 

If you are talking about the loading screen of a mission, then yes, there should be a screenshot image (random selection).

I've tried this with all of the sections, career missions, quick missions, missions, campaigns, multiplayer missions, when I want to start/join the server I click on what ever the respective button is, start, join multiplayer server, start mission, and then that screen shows up like the screenshot above, and that's basically all I can tell you, it wasn't doing this before the update at all though, hope that helps.

I also have the same problem.

I have this occurrence as well.  Wasn’t paying attention until it was mentioned here.  Something is wrong with preloader or like module.  When a mission, not the game, is started, the loading screen is now black.....no picture of tanks or planes as before.

OK gents, I tried all kind of loading (QMB, single missions, career, campaigns, multiplayer) and all is fine and dandy. Always some randoms screenies in the loading screen.

 

Now, I run my game in resolution 1920x1080 native at 60Hz. Is it possible that you guys are some kind of spoiled kids running the game in 4K or on insane resolution?

Maybe this might be the cause?

I'm running IL2 on my school computer which isn't very good, so I have the bare minimum of graphics possible so that it doesn't lag a bunch, I run mine in 1920x1080, and I have 4k textures disabled most of the time so that it runs better.

No changes to the game ,no mod, same resolution.
