NO.20_W_M_Thomson Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Would have thought they'd fix the fact with all the led we put into the D7f it would at least slow it down some.

Weight of the lead offset by all the holes and pieces shot away, therefore performance of the D7 remains the same. Pure science. Newton probably had a theory about it. Apparently balloon guns upset the theory though.

Only if you get a note from the squadron leader saying you'll use it for busting balloons and not for shooting planes, we're not barbarians.

It was the incendiary aspect which was thought against the St Petersburg Declaration and that’s not modded in sim. They don’t seem to be more effective against balloons than normal 303, unlike in Rise of Flight. Oddly they act more like a heavier caliber round, which helps fix the Dvii’s kevlar and steel construction ? Edited November 21, 2020 by US93_Rummell

No.23_Gaylion Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 (edited) I never used them at all until planes started taking 300,400,500 rounds to go down. I actually hate using them. My entire sortie consists of me worrying if I have enough rounds for the next fight and it causes me to land out often to rearm. Edited November 22, 2020 by US93_Talbot 1
