Rob, maybe we should have waited a little and this could have been an awesome Christmas present ,😁😎🍻 Seriously though, this is my absolute favourite mod and I usually only install 4 (wing vortices, mpeffects (that give much more realistic smoke/fire effects), and the delay despawn mod)). Reading that a V9 is still in the melting pot is fantastic news, I await further news with great anticipation 🙏🎊 Cheers (and Merry Christmas 🤪😂)

I'm still working on the Tuskegee Airmen set of missions which I've modified since we last spoke and now have nearly 20+ missions. Just getting them straightened out in an attempt to remove any errors, etc. Will share them with you as you've always been supportive of my nubee efforts at mission building and looking forward to version 9 of your MOD. Off_Winters Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 G'day All, One of the things I have been working through was the quick combat map when setting up the flight. it always bothered me that for in game supplied quick mission scenarios the allied airfields showed the Russian Star as the map marker. finally worked out which files to change to get a British marker to show on the map instead. Now on the hunt for the text file that assigns aircraft types to select for each airfield so I can replace Russian types with British and US types. and then the text file that controls the map information relating to front line positions etc. to change that from Russian front info to be info more in Line with Nth Africa/Tunisia locations. regards Rob. 1 1
Off_Winters Posted March 24 Author Posted March 24 (edited) G'Day all, Didn't seem right seeing a Romanian aircraft over the desert, so transferred them to the Regia Aeronautica. changed the default texture and the first skin in the list to have a desert theme, so that when in game scenarios from the Quick Mission selection spawn an IR80 it will at least look the part. regards Rob. So if your not seeing codes in your game that is how its supposed to be. But you can get them back by doing exactly as you have done. I did this because the game was applying codes over the top of AI controlled aircraft (wingmen, enemy etc) which was spoiling the historically based skins I have included. regards Rob. PS very close to releasing V9 now, a couple of small things to adjust after recent game update, and some new work being done in the background around shipping, but I'll let the guys doing that work explain more when the time comes. 2 1
