Here is my question :

I want to land with my a/c in ennemy territory to deliver a cargo to a partisan on an abandoned AF. And take off again from there IOT finish my mission.

If I do that, the mission is failed.

How to do that as mission objective?
Do I have to put an Allies AF on this AF or what?

Thanks in advance

I’m not sure why you’d get a failed mission simply for landing. It sounds to me like simply a missing or wrongly configured objective MCU.

That said you could also place a trigger zone in your cargo delivery landing area with a mission objective.

I’m looking at doing a similar mission on the Normandy map.

Here's how it's done:

Here's a terrible screenshot of the logic.

Here's the group. Add it to your mission and reverse engineer it to learn what I've done.

Nice job Sketch.

DN308, note the use of the “gateway” timers that exist only for this purpose (as a gate)

I normally use them as 0 second nodes and label them as such “NODE”

Other times it’s appropriate to actually add a time interval, but I make heavy use of 0 sec nodes in my logic. They’re also a quick way to connect and disconnect logic groups or sub- groups.( easier to edit later if you change your mind about something)

JUST WOWWWW!!!!!!

Many, many thanks!!!!

That's really incredible all this logic I didn't have any clue before.

So thanks for the file, for the picture and for the video, that's awesome!

Just wanted to thank @Sketch and the entire community for sharing your work and ideas for your videos and posting  your ideas for anyone (granted we dig hard enough) to use :gamer:

Wish we could have a section just for these tutorials members of the community make ;)

Sketch, I finally understood the use of the Complex Trigger. I never used it but now I may as it could simplify some logic circuitry.

So many thanks for this very nice tutorial.

@SketchSorry for digging out this topic but I have another request related to the first one.

IOT go further, I want to make this scenario with two aircraft (A-20).

The first one (player) will have to reach the AF, land, deliver an agent or cargo, re-take off and wait for the second one to do the same, and then, resume the mission.

Here's my request. How to make the second aircraft circle, waiting for the player to land, taxiing to a truck, deliver the "cargo" (a defuse bomb is possible?), taxiing again to the runway, take-off again and circle, and then, land, do the same as the player and re-take-off at his turn?

I guess that if the flight is linked, it would not be possible.

As you already suspect yourself, if the flight is linked, this is not possible.

Using the Ai Behavior Landing Logic show here below and in the main group sharing topic to separate grouped flights in the landing pattern. Along with some slight of hand. The impossible is now possible.
