Has anyone created or would consider creating an Attack/Defence of Malta set of skins?

Currently looking at and reading a few books on Malta and would really like to try and create something with BoX. Has anyone created ant Macchi, Spitfire Vb and 109 skins for the Malta attack/defence period of the War? Thanks in advance for any advice, cheers, Mysticpuma

You might be interested of this, if you can find the original high quality version and not this fuzzy reload whatever. The best IL-2 machinima I remember.

Some time ago I started making a single historic Malta Spit Vb skin but then stopped, however I could take another look at it and finish it if you'd like it. Would you want a generic style skin or fully marked?

@Mysticpuma I'm not 100% sure but most likely they have seen action over Malta.  Anyway, some times ago i've made some skins of  italian JU 87 and german 109 from 1.(F)/122,  JG 77 and JG 53 based in Sardinia and Sicily...Take a look also here:

Sure, I have enough info/photos for five or six Vb Spits, and if you're ok with it I have info (serial numbers and codes) for more but without photos so I'd be guessing as to their paint schemes.

I think at the time 480P was the high end video quality (DVD standard). I do have a DVD version of it, not sure if I can get it much better than what you already see though

     I agree with FlyingFisch, it is a very moving video and underscores the sacrifices made by a few to the benefit of many.  Great work.  It would really be great if we could get a higher quality version, but as you said it was high end at the time and I'm certain it would take a great deal of work to redo the video to today's standards.

Thanks Falcon. The film was created over a year and made between a group of guys across the world all editing/creating separate parts that were then put into a final edit. I will see if I can contact some of the guys and make the DVD version available as an .iso
