343KKT_Kintaro Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Thank you so much Pete, great improvements indeed. The textures on the Tobruk map are so realistic now. I'm of those who were happy with the map as it was, but now it is much better. May I ask two questions? 1. What is that "wonder woman view" thing?? (I'm sorry if I'm supposed to know, but I really don't know what it is). 2. "France speedtree patterns modified". What does this really mean? how can this be noticeable in the game?
Sokol1 Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 1- "Wonder Woman View" (Shift + F1) is like in IL-2:46 (and EAW), make your plane became invisible, a "gamey" feature. ? 2 - Don't know specifically, but France landscape gives the impression of being more colorful, with patches more defined. 1
343KKT_Kintaro Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Thank you Sokol1, I think I got that "wonder woman view" thing, it's a bug correction isn't it? I already had made some flights over France after the patch was released, but I didn't notice any novelty... Anyway it's ok, I'm happy with the patch. Now: looking forward to new improvements... and new add-ons... ?
Sokol1 Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Quote .."wonder woman view" thing, it's a bug correction isn't it? Not really, just a addition for the new planes introduced by Tobuk, default planes of game already have this thing. 1
343KKT_Kintaro Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Thank you for the explanations, Sokol. I think there's a typo on your text... isn't there? Didn't you mean "Ctrl + F1" for the "wonder woman view" rather than "Shift + F1". Otherwise, I made a few tests with my sim, obviously with "Ctrl + F1" as the assigned combined keys... and it's not working. Is this video an example of the "wonder woman view" feature? (although in external view):
9./JG52_J-HAT Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Ctrl+F1, yes. There is a realism option, cockpit always on (iirc, or something similar) that you need to uncheck for it to work. Your video shows wonder woman view, yes. You can use it like Warthunder too, with a reticule showing where the bullets will hit. Shoft+F1 is lean to gunsight normally.

Facepalm! I forgot that one... thank you J-HAT. 47 minutes ago, 9./JG52_J-HAT said: Shoft+F1 is lean to gunsight normally. Indeedly indeed...
