Any one ever tried creating working street lights? I've put fires on a tower once.

But Street lighting in a town would be nice in a nightly tank mission ....

Maybe some search light pointing down .. ? You cannot set ground height for vehicles it seems ..

Streetlights in wartime?  There are strict blackout regulations in force; you can get five years for striking a match.

Or even smoking a cigar ... i lighted up some roads with landlights, great sight when driving a tank, being able to even see a cat crossing the street.

I learned to chew tobacco while we were tactical at night. Gotta satisfy that craving somehow.

Just tried LizLemon's lights mod, surely enlightening things. Now got to try fitting it to a lamppost ....

should be nice in city views, f.i. driving though Cologne in the dark hours.

It works, not perfect though, with static light medium ....

Posted this elsewhere too:  Download this and start messing around ... Streetlamps Group

PS you'll need to have LizLemon's MOD installed: download Lights MOD

MOD works with JSGME, and if you have LizLemon's torpedo MOD installed you''ll get an error message in JSGME; not to worry as it seems both MODs work after install.

Messing further with streetlights and Cologne on the winter Rheinland map: the smoke from the trains and spray from the moving vehicles is far too bright.

Any ideas how to reduce that?
