jollyjack Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 (edited) Any one ever tried creating working street lights? I've put fires on a tower once. But Street lighting in a town would be nice in a nightly tank mission .... Maybe some search light pointing down .. ? You cannot set ground height for vehicles it seems .. There are strict blackout regulations in force; you can get five years for striking a match. Edited September 9, 2020 by Cynic_Al
jollyjack Posted September 9, 2020 Author Posted September 9, 2020 (edited) Or even smoking a cigar ... i lighted up some roads with landlights, great sight when driving a tank, being able to even see a cat crossing the street. Edited September 12, 2020 by jollyjack
SIA_Target Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 I learned to chew tobacco while we were tactical at night. Gotta satisfy that craving somehow. 1

jollyjack Posted September 12, 2020 Author Posted September 12, 2020 (edited) Just tried LizLemon's lights mod, surely enlightening things. Now got to try fitting it to a lamppost .... should be nice in city views, f.i. driving though Cologne in the dark hours. It works, not perfect though, with static light medium .... jollyjack Posted September 13, 2020 Author Posted September 13, 2020 Posted this elsewhere too: Download this and start messing around ... Streetlamps Group PS you'll need to have LizLemon's MOD installed: download Lights MOD MOD works with JSGME, and if you have LizLemon's torpedo MOD installed you''ll get an error message in JSGME; not to worry as it seems both MODs work after install.
jollyjack Posted September 26, 2020 Author Posted September 26, 2020 (edited) Messing further with streetlights and Cologne on the winter Rheinland map: the smoke from the trains and spray from the moving vehicles is far too bright. Any ideas how to reduce that? Edited September 26, 2020 by jollyjack 1
