Adler Legion to FC online event community

Dear friends. With regret, I have to inform you that our team Adler Legion will not and does not plan to participate in any Flying Circus events. Recent changes in the damage model at FC made the gameplay completely unacceptable for us when we are talking about serious events. The feeling of satisfaction from the game became more disappointment. This is also due to the fact that we do not understand where the game is going and how it will develop in the future. And will it be? Our community has been flying in combat flight simulators of the First World War since 2010 (Rise of flight).Most of the active participants have already been banned from the forum when they try to express their fair in my opinion position. Questions that are not rough in their content, which are "inconvenient" for game developers, I asked, are ignored. While the other "convenient" questions all have complete and comprehensive answers. We do not see no prerequisite for positive changes. With each patch, the game doesn't get better in owr opinion. The irritation is growing. I know that large part of the online community of the FC, which in the majority came from the Rof, have the same opinion, undersatand and support our pisition. I have to say that we will be very pleased to take part in the events at the Rise of flight if there are any.

Dont blame you all..Bad enough to put enough lead in a d7 to sink the titanic and it flies away or enough holes in a DR1 to use it for a strainer with no results but when 2 hits take away controls I cant even fight back .

An AI gunner from across the mud takes controls away with 2 shots......NO

A single flack burst on a recon at 10,000 takes controls away...NO

The new IMPROVEMENT really blows chunks...I love this game but at saddened am the fact I can no longer recommend it to anyone.

If War Thunder ever does WW1 there hooped and I am gone.

Adler... I / we share your frustration.

In a perfect world the Devs will listen and respond with plans to effect changes... but is there any such thing as a perfect world?

Sad too see any squad go especially an allied squad, don't know if you flew allied or not, Hard enough to get guys to join allied as it is, now the DM has made it worse. Things were looking so good for FC. Maybe they need to separate FC from il2 and set up a new main server with it's own DM if that's posable.

Ok, with respect,  I'll spell it out for you @LukeFF. Jason strikes me as a personable guy who is proud of what the devs have achieved with the IL2 series including FC. He and Han provide updates/info on current and future projects all the time. I can only surmise that the months of silence on FC, despite vociferous concerns, is an order from his penny counters. It is unlike Jason and Han to be so silent. Perhaps the bean counters think FC is a dead end proposition, unprofitable and all focus should be put into WWII and just let FC slowly wither and die without comment? Who knows. But I am at a loss as to why the silence on FC alone continues. If FC is dead, then someone should show us the courtesy and say so and everyone can move on. If it isn't dead, then a simple statement would suffice to give us hope. This is my opinion only and I have no agenda. Only that it's a fantastic sim and I have deep concerns about it's current status. 

 

If you know anything about FC's future or otherwise, please tell us.
