MrScrub Posted August 16, 2020 Posted August 16, 2020 After purchasing tobruk and updating, tried the new AA in the game with FHD, but still looks way too jaggy in cockpit, especially around instrument panel. thats still annoying but much better than before like original Clod back in 2011 and Blitz before 5.0. I tried Nvidia Inspector, Reshade (using ver.4.0.2 but gonna try 3.1.2 later), Nvidia DSR, and seems only Nvidia DSR reduces aliasing much but performance hit is crucial for my environment (win10, gtx1070, i7-8700, 16gb) at least 2.00x of my native resolution which is 1920x1080 is fine to run the game stably but still jaggy. So any idea to solve/reduce this? I know clod uses old engines etc and I dont think its client-side problem because in iL-2 BOX, MSAA with FHD woks pretty fine without most of Aliasing. Sorry for my bad English Best regards,
Team Fusion Buzzsaw Posted August 22, 2020 Team Fusion Posted August 22, 2020 You should not be seeing a lot of 'jaggies' now. Can you confirm you have deleted the old CLIFFS OF DOVER game from Steam.... only BLITZ/TOBRUK should be installed. Also make sure you deleted the cache folder in Documents/1C SoftClub/il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover/ Did you try all the AA options? There are a number of choices.

LLv34_Flanker Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 (edited) S! @Arthur-A That is the one I am using. Well done too. Does not tank the FPS like in GB. In GB used FXAA due the enormous hit by MSAA. Edited August 22, 2020 by LLv34_Flanker 1

If you bought CloD before late 2017 when Blitz Edition was released, you will have Cliffs of Dover as well as Cliffs of Dover Blitz in your steam library. The old version is now redundant.

Hi, I somehow solved this issue by reducing in-game FOV to 90. I play the sim with maxed out FOV which makes everything jaggy even if playing with 2715x1527 I tried all AA settings, deleted the cache file. (basically my old PC when I installed the original CloD back in 2011 is gone so theres no old Clod files in my new pc which menas I havent installed the old Clod on my new pc) Anyway thanks for info sir. Im gonna make sure delete the cache file everytime when updates/patch available. I dont use Track-IR things for now but Im really looking foward to playing Blitz in VR Cheers.
