Tank firing two rounds at once

Twice yesterday on the Finnish Virtual server a Player panzer IV fires two rounds at a time on slightly different trajectories. As if two different types of ammunition were being fired at once. At first I thought two tanks were firing at me, but just the one. Happened every time he fired. A couple hours later it happened again.
