I just downloaded the add Tobrouk and naturally again the blo.... game do not start. What s goeing oin I paif USD 51.-- for a game which to not work !!!

Just flew two missions in Tobruk ... WOW ... congratz TF with this version 5 !

IMHO it is really unfortunate that a Steam store DLC, even a major game overhaul like in the case of Tobruk, never gets the full attention like a 'new' game.

To me Tobruk is a new game though ... completely new environment + warplanes ... 2-games-in-1. 

The same applies to IL-2 BoX, TC, FC ... !

But I don't see the new planes or the maps...?

Its a DLC... so it is now a part of the original game.

 

Maps are in the FMB, there are sections in Quick Missions for the new map missions, the campaign section has the new campaigns, etc.

I don't see the quick missions on the new map or the campaign. 
The new planes don't appear on the list.
It's in the v.5000 and I didn't buy it on Steam.

I went to the publisher and the maps of Tobruk did not appear.

Log in to main il2sturmovik site.

Then select "Profile" at the top, then choose "License keys" in the red box to the right.

Go down and find "IL-2 Sturmovik: Desert Wings – TOBRUK"

 Copy the key to the right in the keys column.

Take this key and go into steam. In steam at the top choose, "games", then "Activate a product on steam".

Paste in that license key.

That will activate Tobruk and it should then automatically download and integrate it to the main CLOD Blitz game.
