4k Exterior Skins/Textures

After so many airplanes have been updated oficially to 4k, Im a bit confused on which planes still required mods/skins to incresase resolution of both Color and Bump to 4k.

Ive been using this mod: ( [MOD] Historically Correct Official Skins (2K and 4K) ) for a long time, which includes 4k textures of both default and default white skins of all airplanes and the extra download that uses 4k Normal maps for all airplanes. (But it doesnt include any of the extra skins)

My question would be, is there any point using this mod nowadays, I keep seeing in the updates that more and more planes are updated to 4k, Im wondering if this updates include the Normal maps as well of if I still should keep using the Mod.

Is there any list somewhere of which airplanes still don't have oficially 4k Textures? Are the oficial 4k textures including Normal maps?

All Battle of Stalingrad and Bodenplatte planes have complete 4K textures.  BoM and BoK are about half done.

 

Planes that are 2K still and will require mods.

Isn't the Bf109G-6 still 2K?  At least the default schemes are on my install.

If the Swastika on the tail of the German aircraft is something thats important to you then this mod (or a variation of it) will always be required.

Does that mean the Flying Circus aircraft have 4K skins already, or are they not part of the project?

Flying Circus kites are already 4K

I second that, his work has been an amazing upgrade to this sim.  (patiently awaiting the 52, 110, and 88)

If a plane is done in 4k, does that mean the interior is also redone in 4k?

 

If not, are there plans to do so?  Like with earlier Bf109s?
