Fantastic.. :clapping:

Is it possible for modders to change the textures of metal materials too? For example the beige metal in your third screenshot above (Panther) and bring textures to this fantastic level as you did it with the planes. Man, this would be epic. Thanks for your hard work ??

Guys, If you have any ideas on how or where to enhance the texture, please feel free to suggest it, it will be very helpful.

@Oyster_KAI

HI mate,

first of all fantastic work!

If you dont mind i found some misspellings:

1, Kürskreisel should be KURSKREISEL

2, Schaltbrelt should be SCHALTBRETT

3, Oldrucksignel should be ÖLDRUCKSIGNAL

Thank you

There are some great uniform mods out there that would look amazing in HI RES.  You would need to ask permission to alter them from their authors of course  but they would look amazing!?

Hi,

if you can, look at the cupola textures for the commander in Panther.

There are more low res textures if you look down from the open cupola.

Thanks.

PS: now with the working binoculars the commander cupola suffer the most from the low res textures in every tank.

T34 in particular with the open hatch in front of you

Recommended to use mod manager for this and future mods ? And after installing do not forget to enable mods in the main menu options.

1. Download JSGME (Jones Generic Mod Enabler)

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Others/Miscellaneous/Generic-Mod-Enabler.shtml

2. Unzip JSGME to your main BOS folder...

3. Run JSGME.exe that was placed in that folder. (You can right click the JSGME exe icon, and place a shortcut to your desktop for easy access.)

4. JSGME will start and a screen will display.

5. Now close JSGME. This sets up the proper location for the JSGME MODs folder for your BOS install.

6. JSGME is now properly installed.

Now for your MODs that work with JSGME....

1. Download desired MOD zip file or files

2. Unzip your selected mod to the MOD folder that JSGME set up in the BOS main directory.....

3. Start JSGME....a new screen will open.

4. On the left side of the JSGME screen will be the list of MODs you have available.

5. Move the MOD you want to the right side of the JSGME screen. JSGME will install it.

6. Close JSGME

7. Start BOS and your selected MODs will be available.

JSGME backs-up your original installation. If you don't like a mod then simply move the MOD back to the left side of the screen and JSGME will uninstall it AND put BOS back to it's original configuration....

once again Thanks

With 'mods enabled' you simply can't join servers which disabled mod usage. You can always leave all mods activated in JSGME, but must deactivate mods ingame if you wanna join most servers.

bad news....
My system disc is dead, and the TC remade texture files are placed on the desktop?

I have a backup of system disc in April, which is not including TC psd files?
The psd files of FC and WWII planes are safe.

The horror. :,(

What happened to the drive? Corrupt? Mechanical failure?

I suppose our copies of the mod can't be "uncompiled" back in to the elements you need?

Such good work! Well done. Heartbreaking to hear about your drive.

The work should be able to continue, but because the psd files for edit are missing,
I can’t undo the modified part or adjust it.
However, the impact of the loss of data is not as big as I imagined.

V1.6 Updated!!!
see the first post

I haven't touched this MOD for a long time since my hard disk was damaged and the editing psd file was lost in November last year.
Digital Form seems to have done some TC updates this year.

Therefore the old v1.5 mod may not work correctly.

I have redrawn the v1.6 version and added more details, but I need to test and confirm whether there are typos.

I have more upgrade ideas on the work list, which will appear in future versions.

I use Gigapixel AI to do this sort of upscale work for my old sims like CFS3. It's fast (4 sec to go from 1024 TO 2048) and gets good results pretty automatically.

Are you doing this all by hand, or are you using a similar tool?

Yes, AI computing can generate a large enough canvas for me.
But I personally think that AI can only achieve about 30~40% of the results, and the rest needs to be hand-drew.
