Solitojorgesoo Posted July 7, 2020 Posted July 7, 2020 Is there a way of limiting que quantity of fuel or armament when rearming or refuelling ?. In my case, when the P51 is refuelled, all tanks, and specially the aft tank are topped, and as it is well known, it becomes very heavy and unstable.- At all missions I select no more than 70% fuel, that way the aft tank remains empty
Retnek Posted July 7, 2020 Posted July 7, 2020 Afaik: you stop the re-fuelling-process yourself, just use the re-fuel-button again. Re-arming will result in a as-spawned-load-out - no choices, use re-arm button and wait until finished. Don't forget to re-load the guns! Repair will be activated automatically as soon as you cut the engine within the repair-area. https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/60247-refuel-repair-rearm-not-working/ https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/54285-anyone-tried-rearm-repair-refuel/?tab=comments#comment-826233
Solitojorgesoo Posted July 8, 2020 Author Posted July 8, 2020 I discovered how useful is that repairing function. It happened to me that in a campaign mission with the P51, after refuelling and rearming at St Trond airbase, I went to the runway, and when just in position to take off, a stupid P47 came behind me and completely cut off one of my stabilizers with the prop.- As I still had ground control, I returned to the refuelling area, where instantly and magically my stabilizer was restored, and so could complete my third sortie of the day.
