You may have noticed and wondered why the mission number isn't 4.007? The answer is that we plan to release an intermediate update before that, it will add some important functionality and new features. They will be based on your feedback mostly and will bring some features long-awaited by the community. The update 4.007 is already in beta testing and we hope it will be ready in the coming week. 

 

Oh Boy!!! Now it is really intriguing!!!!

I have some many little things that I would love ...

new map, torpedoes, mines, all gore, pilot in the cockpit, more complex beacon navegation, 4K cockpits, drop tanks, track IR in external views, etc

 

Wait a minute ....  It gotta be the ... Air Marshall !

Thanks as always for updating the older planes into 4K textures and normal maps, it really brings them to the next level.

 

Very excited for the Razorback too, i find that to be a pretty interesting beast.

as a member of the tester team i can confirm that this is NOT a legitimate list. we are actually getting alcantara leather, not corinthian. Please stop spreading misinformation

If it wasn't for the overworked shipping staff and the fact that I have slightly better judgment... I'd be tempted to see how many of these I could accomplish by next week.

JASON! Threw the Hurri!!! aaargh. Ok so history tells us we did not send you brand new factory fresh Hurri's ....go figure, but we were busy! Looking forward to both P-47 Razorback, it just looks right...I know it wasn't hence the bubbletop. So us Brits will be making Battle of Britain campaigns as soon as it lands as it were as you have provided us with the basics, Heinkell, Ju-88 and Emil.

Can I ask why no one ever puts up a Dornier, 17, or 217? It served almost everywhere, but gets no credit. Any idea why?

In either case it is a poor joke.

The oft maligned Hurricane is one of the iconic aircraft of WW2.

It was there in the summer of 1940, along with the Spitfire, when nothing else was.

It deserves as much as any aircraft a place in this simulation, whether MK1 or Mk II.

To do otherwise is the height of disrespect for an old warrior who held the line

in the dark hours when it looked like the line could not be held.

Remove it from the rubbish bin, shine it up, and put it back in.

The reason why it is a good joke is because it is so preposterous. Cancelling the Hurricane would set off Barbarossa 2.0 with the main axis of advance being the 1C headquarters.

 

So let's all take a deep breath or two and get ourselves ready for the massive disappointment it will be to actually fight 109Fs in it ???

And when you take that deep breath remember that Britiain sent Hurricanes to Russia with 151 Wing in the Kola peninsula (Operation Benedict), Murmansk, and met up with 109F's as well as the E series.

They put their lives at risk taking on German forces in the early days of Barbarossa, plus the pilots and RAF ground crews helped train the Russian pilots and crews how to operate those Hurricanes.

A Hurricane has every right to be included in an eastern front combat sim and rightly so... Why do you think Oleg included them in the original game!

That said, I'm sure we all know Jason was pulling everyone's  leg knowing that many are looking forward to seeing the old Hurri in the game

It seems like its not been used by combat units, as its the only photo that i have seen, and its full-size caption + text description points out that its a photo of experimental installation.

Also, its doubdfull that canopy windshield construction (with central vertical strut) will allow its acceptable use.

You had me at hello, Chum...I already bought it a long time ago. 

 

I will fly it for the same reasons I like flying the P-40, but it will be rough going against the F.
