when lean forward cockpit moves with me

hi all... if I try to lean forward closer to gauges... or lean outside open canopy..the cockpit moves with me... I can turn my head and look up and down just can’t lean forward or left and right which makes taxiing really hard... any ideas?

Probably one of two things.

Your losing some tracking in the headset, like for instance your room is not well lit.

You are maybe playing with cockpit head  movement limitation enabled, where it locks you in the cockpit to where you can not stick your head out.

Yes, as @dburne said your headset isn't tracking properly.

 

I use a Reverb but it holds true for all WMR headsets. When you first launch WMR hold the headset in front of you as to move it left, right, up and down to cover 180 degrees. Then minimize WMR and launch IL2.

Taxiing over 50km/h (I think) doesn't allow you to stick your head out when the limiter is enabled in the options; also disabling "view others" has the same effect (which happens if you set difficulty to expert). IMO the speed threshold allowed for sticking your head out should be increased currently it seems way too low if realism is the point.

I sometimes have this problem with my Odyssey+ (also WMR). To fix it, I just go to Mixed Reality Portal and reset the space limitations to "sitted position", and then it works again.
